Easter, toenails and our great neighborhood...

Easter was busy. Why is it that the best events seem to be impromptu gatherings that require little work and yet I still seem to run around like a crazy lady on holidays trying to make the day extra special? The best part of the day was watching the girls (Jovie, Margot and Ryken Armerding) hunt for eggs. Hilarious. We followed them around the yard carrying their baskets for them. They didn't really care too much about finding eggs, just wanted to eat the cheerios, animal crackers and fruit snacks immediately upon finding them.

I should try and feed her all of her food out of an Easter egg.

She is still sporting the precious, gopher teeth on bottom.
I feel like she is going to look so different with an entire set of bottom teeth!

Jovial and Ryken getting ready for the hunt.

This is my amazing neighborhood. Benton and Sam are two of Jovial's favorite people. Today we had our first HOT day. We found our amazing neighbors pulling these awesome pools into the front yard and playing music. So fun. Jess rolled his BBQ into the front yard and Jason and Kim brought a huge canopy over for some shade. Then we watched the kids play, bar b qued and soaked in as much of the sun as we could take. It was a great day.

Jovial giving Ben a love pat.

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago actually but we are at our
neighbors again. I loved that the guys took out their guitars.

Today is also the first time I have ever painted Jovs tonails.
I loved it and at the same time kind of hated that I did it. It was so cute
with her bathing suit but just made her seem old!

Lastly, I had to throw in this video of my daughter being a trickster. This is where she stops acting like me and turns into Jesus (my brother). I havent gotten video of her driving in these positions yet, here she is only practicing her moves, I guess. She has DRIVEN backwards, and standing!

Her toes!!! :) and :( I so get it! Also, I'm very glad you made the distinction between Jesus Alaniz and Jesus Christ. I was wondering what Jov was starting to do to act like JC! Awesome!
