Summertime
I laugh out loud everytime I look at this picture.
Jovial looks a little mischevious, like she is trying to splash Lachlan.
Well, Spring was lovely but it's time to welcome Summer, which is really hard for me to do this year. I usually love Summer. I don't really mind being hot or laying a towel down on my scalding, leather seats. This year, like everything in the world, is different with baby girl. I feel a little mean putting her in her carseat and taking her anywhere past 11am. Arriving somewhere and pulling her out of the seat with her hair soaked and stuck to the back of her sweaty head is a bummer. I am still wrestling in this place where I wonder if I am being selfish wanting to get out of the house or if I am doing the right thing getting her used to life in the valley. I am so thankful for my friends who come over or who live around the corner and let me just pop in for a visit. Thank you for coming to breakfast today Connie, Margot, Ryken, Joylene and Lachlan! Jovie and I love you guys. These photos are of Joylene and Travis Earheart's baby, Lachlan and Jovial swimming. These two are hilarious together.

I laughed out loud at that first one, too. Nothing beats the baby pool on a hot day in July! What a cutie.

Cat, so her suit is too cute and I too love the first picture. It looks like she has tons of muscles in her baby biceps. But, I know it's just baby rolls.
